Davin has been a singer-songwriter from the time he could speak. One of the tracks on this album, “Queen of Beauty,” was written well before he was 10 years old.
Davin has always loved to perform. Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, he frequently would be found on stage in school, in choirs or small ensembles, even singing to classmates on the bus to and from school, or at his senior year’s homecoming dance. At his heart, music has always been Davin’s escape.
Throughout this album, anchored by its lead single “U In Control,” you get a sense of a person who likes to break free from what is expected and to fully live life. With the cutting-edge talent of Canadian producer Bamford, and mastering by Grammy winner Bernie Grundman, Davin was able to take his songs and fully realize their potential.
